We continuously work directly with a community of Karen Hill Tribe silversmiths in Thailand, ensuring fair trade practices that protect both the people and the planet. We are also proud members of BAFTS (Fair Trade Network UK).
Is your jewellery environmentally friendly?
Yes! We are strongly committed to environmental sustainability. Our collections utilize recycled fine silver, and we are recognized as a Plastic Free Champion (Sliver Status) with Surfers Against Sewage. Ensuring all your orders are delivered to you entirely plastic free in eco friendly packaging.
Is Luna Tree jewellery vegan friendly?
Absolutely. Our entire silver jewellery production and business philosophy are 100% vegan friendly and cruelty free. We are also proud to be a recognized Business Without Blood sports with The League Against Cruel Sports.

What type of silver is used in your jewellery?
Our items are handcrafted using premium, high quality fine silver (which has a higher silver content than standard sterling silver) and recycled sterling silver for elements like chains, ear wires, and clasps to ensure durability. Furthermore, our silver is always nickel free and great for people with metal sensitivities.
Are your pieces mass-produced?
Not at all. Our simple philosophy is: “You are unique, your jewellery should be too.” Every single piece is mindfully created, handcrafted with purpose, and completely unique to the artisan who made it.
What are the spiritual benefits of your gemstone collections?
Our Chakras & Gems collection features genuine semi precious gemstones chosen for their energetic properties. Whether it’s Amethyst for the Crown Chakra or Garnet for the Root Chakra, our pieces are designed to help cleanse, activate, and balance your energy centres. We only source our gemstones sustainably from trusted suppliers only. Some stones we will always refuse to use due to the areas in the world where they are found being places of conflict and forced labour.
Will the gemstone items look exactly like the photos?
Because we prioritize authentic, natural semi precious stones, there may be slight variations in colour and shape depending on current availability. This ensures that your specific piece is truly one of a kind.
🐘 Our Elephant Artworks & Prints
What is the story behind the Elephant Artworks?
The journey behind our art range is deeply personal. While travelling to Thailand to collaborate with our silversmith partners, our founder Clare began regularly volunteering at Elephant Nature Park (ENP) in Northern Thailand, a sanctuary where abused and mistreated Asian elephants gain their freedom. Wanting to support this magical sanctuary beyond her volunteer hours, Clare partnered with the incredibly talented Chiang Mai artist, Lertsark Bangkeaw, in 2010. We became the exclusive UK stockist of his whimsical, vibrant paintings to raise vital, continuous funds for the sanctuary.
How do the elephant print sales support elephant conservation?
They represent a true full circle of giving back! We donate 50% of our profits from the sale of all elephant artworks directly to The Save Elephant Foundation, the registered charity that funds Elephant Nature Park and numerous other animal welfare initiatives. When you purchase a piece of art, you are supporting the artist, decorating your home with joyful, “juicy” colours, and directly funding food, medical care, and land for rescued elephants and other animals.

What sizes and formats are available for the elephant prints?
To suit different spaces in your home, we offer our mounted elephant prints in both Square (20x20cm) and Rectangle (20x25cm) formats. We also (occasionally) have a very limited number of original paintings for collectors looking for a one of a kind statement piece, as well as affordable fridge magnets for a smaller pop of colour.

Yes, absolutely. In alignment with our strict core values, all of our elephant artworks and prints are sustainably produced and ethically made, ensuring they are kind to the planet while adding beauty to your space.

While much of our global collection relies on our wonderful partnership with Karen Hill Tribe silversmiths in Thailand, our Made in Cheshire range brings the artisan focus closer to home. These select luxury pieces are mindfully designed and locally handcrafted directly within our studio in Cheshire, UK.

Just like our international ranges, our Cheshire creations never compromise on sustainability. Every piece in the Made in Cheshire collection is meticulously sculpted using recycled fine silver or recycled sterling silver, giving beautiful new life to precious metals.

Do you offer jewellery size adjustments?
Yes! We want your jewellery to fit you perfectly. Many of our necklaces and bracelets feature integrated extension chains. Additionally, we offer custom alterations for specific items to ensure a seamless fit for your wrist or neck. If you are unsure, please do contact us so we can quote for your custom bespoke fit.
How do I care for my Luna Tree silver and is it Hallmarked?
Every order comes with a dedicated jewellery care advice card to help you keep your fine silver shimmering and beautiful for years to come. Any item over 7.78 grams is purity tested and hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay office.
